It is important to keep a sewing machine maintained by oiling it after every few uses or the thread may have gotten stuck, re-threading may be the answer.

The tention of your bobbin thread might be too tight or have a knot in it. If that isn't the issue, I would try to oil the parts involved.

If it's an older model the wheel could need to be oiled. If a newer computerized one, the programming could be off.

Be sure the bobbin is in the proper position and locked in, or you might have threaded the machine wrong, or bobbin is threaded wrong.
