What could be wrong if my car runs okay for days and then stalls out?

This sounds like you have some kind of electrical issues. Not knowing anything about the car I can''t suggest where to begin looking. Just look online for people with similar problems or take it to a mechanic.

it sounds like a ignition problem. you can have a mechanic check the computer with a scanner. check it when it stalls out.

If your car is running okay for a few days then it starts giving you problems you would have a transmission problem. You will need to get a new transmission.
