Dogs get worms from fleas that have fed on dogs that have worms. Worms do not come from eating bad meat or eating fleas. The worms live initially in the large intestine and then show up in the fecal matter. Take your dog to the vet for proper care.

It's really best to take him to thevet but you can buy deworming products at pet stores and maybe even at Wal-Mart. I buy ours at Atwood's. Be sure to follow all instructions exactly. If it says to do it twice or three times, don't just do it once.

Tape worms, hook worms, pin worms seen in dog stool occur as a result of eating worm infested meat. Please cook your dog's meat, fish etc properly before administration and get a deworming treatment course for your dog [single dose of albendazole] from your Vet. Prevent your dog from eating unhygienic meat.

Your dog has worms, which is a parasite infection, probably caused by him swallowing fleas. You need to treat the worms with antibiotics, and get rid of the fleas.

If you see worms in your dogs feces it generally just means they have worms and it can be taken care of easily.
