The boils on your childs leg could be from some kind of an allergic reaction. Perhaps he came into contact with something that caused he boils to form. It could also be something more serious. Your best bet in a diagnoses would be to see your childs doctor or a dermatologist.

These could be sebaceous cysts. The body has sebaceous glands all over the outside of the skin. When these become clogged with dirt or sweat, they can become inflamed and cysts can form. These normally go away on their own.

Staph infection usually. Could be because your child plays around or in somewhere that is infested with staphylococcus. Disinfect everything your child plays in/around, sleeps, eats, etc. Bathe your child more frequently. Most of the time they can be prevented with proper hygiene.

Boils on the skin are frequently the sign of bacterial infection of the hair follicles of the skin. To treat, apply a bactericidal cream to the lesions. These creams can be bought over the counter. If severe, contact your doctor for an oral antibiotic.

Boils are a painful condition and need to be treated carefully by a professional. A doctor will diagnois the problem with tests to determine if the boils are from an infection or a possible nutrition deficiancy. Until you take your child to a doctor, keep the area clean and discourage your child from touching it.

Your child could have MRSA or another form of staph infection that requires an antibiotic to control the boils. It is becoming a relatively common thing with children these days.
