What could be the cause of my wife having a metallic taste in her mouth for five days after visiting a spa?

My wife and I had a metallic taste in our mouths for 5 days after visiting a spa, could this be due to heavy metals or bromine, have other people had this experinece

Could be a variety of things copper toxicty, Fluctuation in Estrogen Levels,. The list goes. Best course of action would to be consult a primary care if the situation persists.

To truly find out if other people have had the experience you need to contact them personally and ask. As far as heavy metals only the spa would know and they should have warned people about it if that was the case. Got to the doctor and have them test.

No, A metallic taste can be cause from brushing your teeth with a hard toothbrush and causes your gums to bleed and can cause bad breath. It can also be cause because a type of medication you might be taking which can be the "side effect".

It could the best way to find out would be to go to your doctor tell them what happened and they will do a blood workup and find out.

It could be triggered off by copper toxicity, dental caries, dental conditions, fluctuation in estrogen levels, gastritis, gastro esophageal reflux disease, heartburn, jaundice, lead poisoning and medications like antibiotics.

It's most likely related to something you ate on that same day and not necessarily a symptom of the spa. Try and think of what you had that day.

Have you noticed any materials used in the spa made of metals equipment. It is possible that the metallic taste came from these sources. However, I will advise you to see the doctor if the symptoms prolonged.

There are many things that can cause a metallic taste in a females mouth, including pregnancy. In fact pregnancy is the first thing that comes to mind when concerning metallic taste. If there is anything else going on, is she extra sleepy, going to the bathroom more. I would consult with a doctor.

It could be several reason she has a metallic taste in her mouth some could be seirous. is she taking any type of medication ? This has been going for 5 days talk with your doctor just to make sure everything is ok. I hope this helps.

Well, that could be that she could have been exposed to heavy metals. That is exactly it. Contact the spa and complain.
