If you think your child has a yeast infection, take them to a doctor to confirm. Once confirmed, introduce yogurt into their diet and avoid tight, unbreathable underwear.

A yeast infection could be caused if your toddler had an infection that was treated with antibiotics in the last few weeks.

I know it can be a side effect from using an antibiotic or I think it could be from sweating in a wet diaper.

Yeast infections could be caused by not being potty trained and wearing a wet or dirty diaper too long. Not bein cleaned well enough after using the bathroom, not taking baths, or using bubble bath that is too strong.
