What could be some possible causes of leg numbness?

My leg has been numb for two or three days and I don't remember doing anything to it.

Having numbness on any part of your body, is a very serious thing. You could have poor circulation and made need medication. You also could have a pinched nerve.

This could result from a spider bite; the bite will look like a bruise. It could be the result of an injury. If there is also poor circulation, this could be peripheral artery disease or nerve damage. If it lasts longer, see a doctor.

If the nerve that goes behind your butt or on the outside part below your knee is pressed for long (when you sleep etc) numbness could result. Diabetes can also cause numbness in your feet. Other neuropathies due to disease or toxins can also cause this numbness.
