There are many things that can cause diarrhea in dogs, specially young puppies who like to chew or eat anything. The puppy could of ate something that it cannot digest well, or it could have something serious as a virus. If it don't get better, take it to the vet.

It probably means your puppy is not feeling very well. Some of the causes could be that it is just not feeling good, it ate something it shouldn't have or that the food is bothering it. Chances are it will go away after a day but if it doesn't you should contact your veternarian for further assitance.

I have a one year old Labrador and a few months ago I noticed him having diarrhea. We went to the vet and the answer was stomach worms. The cure was simple: I gave him some pills once a week and a month later he was good as new.

If you have ever fed your dog any dairy based products, that could be the cause of your dogs diarrhea.
