This could be because of a virus program getting executed in your computer without owner's knowledge,which can be via a e-mail or any other internet means. you have to run a updated antivirus program to resolve this issue

If the mouse is optical there could be an issue there. The surface the mouse sits on may be causing the problem. Ensure that a mouse pad is being used. Another problem could be a virus or spyware. Perform a virus sweep of the computer.

If your mouse pointer "drifts" around the screen, this is usually caused by dirty or worn-out optical sensors inside the mouse itself. Try cleaning it. If you mean that windows are being opened and closed and things clicked on without you doing it, you may have a virus.
