What could be causing muscle spasms in my thigh?

Muscle spasms can be caused by electrolyte deficiencies such as potassium, sodium,magnesium and calcium. Poor circulation can also be a factor.

There could be few main reasons mainly related less food and liquid intake, lack of proper exercise and mobility which leads to improper blood circulation and even cause disease.

Muscle spasms can be cause by numerous things and should be checked with your doctor asap. One probable cause is potassium deficiency. Try eating a banana every day.

Which part of the thigh?? The front of the thigh is not so much of a concern as the rear. The rear could be a sign of a deep vein thrombosis, particularly if the area is hot and red. You may also have a potassium or calcium deficiency.
