What could be causing bugs to attack my jalapeno peppers?

The bugs are eating all my peppers.

The type of fertilizer you use can be a problem. If you are using anything organic it may be contaminated. Also; introduce lady bugs.

They are eating the peppers because it is their natural food, like why cows eat grass. You can dust your plants with a safe insecticide like Rotenone to kill bugs.

Well, if there are bugs you need to use a spray over the peppers to keep them from coming. Bugs are attracted to peppers.

All vegetation is subject to parasite and other bugs, the safest nontoxic solution is a mixture of one teaspoon of baking soda, one quart of water and one teaspoon of dishsoap, complete saturate the plant every 2 weeks.
