The problem can be caused by the suprasolicitation. If you don't turn it off regullary and you use it 24\24 it can be broken. Another cause can be the very full memory.

Perhaps, it is automated to delete your files. Why don't you check your settings and see which options you have selected. You should uncheck the button that says automatically delete files. Depending on which version of the player you are using, it may be some variations. But generally, you will find it under the settings tab.

The GPX audio player may be deleting files because of faulty software if it came with any, if it did then it can be easily fixed by reinstalling that software or contacting the company via email. Another reason would be a faulty storage device, like the hard drive or flash memory, contact customer support for a replacement.

Well if your GPX player is deleting your files without your requesting it, then you have to make sure you go back into your settings for the player. Go to settings and then go to files, then also deselect the tab that says automatically clean up the files. That should do it.

The flash memory is probably becoming corrupted on your player. I'm sorry to say, but GPX players are at the bottom of the barrel as far as quality. Upgrade to a sandisk sansa (inexpensive) or better to avoid this problem.
