Mini lop rabbits make great pets. They don't get too big, and seem to be more docile and tame than some other breeds. Watch for over feeding, so ensure optimal health. As with any specialty rabbit, there is a good market for mini lops if you are looking to breed them for sale.

Mini lop rabbits are smaller than regular rabbits. They are very cute and can be recommended as pets for young children. They are smart and lively and there are even some mini lop rabbits that are successfully litter-box trained.

The mini lop breed is actually a very easy animal to work with, has very affectionate tendencies, and is always a good "show" rabbit if your into that kind of thing. They are also easy to train, easy to feed, and have lovely features for a rabbit. One other thing, there ears dont impair hearing!

Mini Lop rabbits are usualy bred for meat and other people raise them for show. They are a small breed where males weigh about 8 pounds and the does weigh about 9 pounds. They have very soft dense fur. Their coat is thick enough for them to live in a garae during the winter but not below zero.
