Kittitas County is located in the Cascade Mountains of central Washington State and includes several highly scenic mountain areas such as Yakima Canyon, the Manastash Ridge and the Wenatchee Mountains.

Kittitas County is a county located in the State of Washington. Its population is 33,362. There are numerous interpretations of the name, which is of Kittitas Indian origin. The county has a total area of 6,043 km² (2,333 mi²). 5,950 km² (2,297 mi²) of it is land and 93 km² (36 mi²) of it is water.
