Stage four endometriosis is severe. By stage 4 you will be experiencing pain and will have deep scar tissue. Sometimes surgery can help get rid of some of the scarring and will eliminate some of the pain.

In stage four, the growth of endometrial tissue affects most organs in the pelvic area. Pelvic pain is common as is infertility. Treatment generally includes anti-inflammatory drugs to control pain and oral contraceptives to reduce tissue growth. If medical management doesn't relieve symptoms, your doctor may recommend surgery.

Stage four is definitely the worst of the stages for endometriosis. Organs tend to be wrapped tight together from the spread of endometriosis. Inflammation spreads, fertility is affected and thetre can be quite a bit of pain involved. It can be caused by being near chemicals, or even a hormonal imbalance.
