Mormons pay 10% of their income to the Church. Members who pay tithing are entitled to get help when they have difficult times.

Latter Day Saints, commonly referred to as Mormons, are asked to contribute ten percent of all their earnings to the church. This is a voluntary tithing, but members are strongly encouraged. The tithings goes to fund church buildings, welfare, education, missions, and various other charitable projects. Many members also contribute extra tithes.
