Michigan is considered wine country in the United States since that is where the Northern wines began and where many are still produced. In Michigan you will find just about every type of red or white wine that you could desire throughout the many vineyards.

There are a lot of vineyards in Michigan. I know that the wines are as diverse as wines from other regions of the United States and the world. The quality of wine not only depends on the quality of soil the grapes and other fruits were grown in, but also the processes and quality of the winemaker.

Michigan wine is delicious. It is normally deep, and has a rich flavor. Look for great reds and whites; they're affordable, too!
