A bone graph is a surgery to replace new bone into spaces around a broken bone. The new bone can be taken from another bone of a person or from a doner bone. Screws or plates can be used to keep it in place.

An example my son had bone taken from his hip to be grafted into his jawline. (He had a cleft lip and palate) Sometime the bone comes from a cadavar that was donated. This bone is used often in orthopedic surgery.
