What can you do to deal with missing a loved one who lives far away?

The best way to keep in touch is with a webcamera. You can see your loved one, and talk to thhem with a microphone. It is also a good idea to get a cell phone or home phone with unlimited long distance. It is always nice to send each other letters, cards, and gifts.

I know first hand about this subject. I live two thousand miles from the closest person I'm related to. Just make sure you keep in contact often via telephone, email or even mail. I like to take a bunch of pictures and post them on Facebook so my family can see what I've been up to. They do the same.

Sometimes it is very difficult to see my brother, not living very close to me, and It makes me ache. Many of you can understand the feelings I go through with this. The best way to handle this is constant phone contact, where I can speak with him, at least.

Try calling him/her everyday for atleast 2times ie once in the morning and again in the night. Tell them what all you have done the whole day and share the same thing with the other person.
