If your current paint job is cracking then the correct way to fix it is to strip it and do a full repaint. Otherwise the new paint won't adhere correctly.

Depending on the amount of cracking or the size of a the crack a simple paint pen found at the auto parts store can fill in the crack. If it's not a special color then it should be available. Otherwise you can go to the dealer to pick up a specific paint color to fix it.

Depends how much money you are willing to spend. The best answer would be to just sand it down to get it smooth again and put some quality paint that won't crack on you're Ford Automobile. If you're not a professional painter, than I wouldn't try this. My advice would be to higher someone.

Contact the company and in writing tell them what your problem is. They might have a recall or with gathered information will institute a recall. If you know a body person see if they have heard of this problem with Ford products.

If this is a newer vehicle it may be covered under warranty. Call your local delor to ask. Older vehicles can be sanded down and repainted. Go to a paint an body shop to get a price to repaint your car. The paint on your vehicle does nothing for safety so you can just leave it.

If the pain is cracking then car must be fairly old and you can not do much about it. If the cracks are small then polishing will help.
