If your ankles are numb it may be due to poor circulation. A good way to keep circulation moving effectively throughout the body can be easily assisted by maintaining a level of physical fitness. Numbness in the ankles can occur for a variety of reasons including poor circulation or nerve related issues such as entrapment or neuropathy. If you are experiencing numbness, it is best to be seen by a physician, either your primary care physician or a podiatrist. A podiatrist is a doctor who specializes in foot and ankle care.
