Put a humidifier in the baby's room to loosen some of the congestion. You can also try putting a pillow under one side of the mattress so his head is elevated. Other solutions include Vicks vaporub and a saline rinse.

Medication may be advised by a doctor. You can take the baby into the bathroom and run the shower on hot to create steam. Breathing in the warm steam will help to clear the congestion. Place your sleeping baby in the crib propped upright or sit them in a bouncer or swing to sleep. this will help with draining.

The first thing I would try is a humidifier, plus elevate the mattress so it will her the baby drain the mucus. Saline drops combined with the other options will make the baby more comfy.

First you need to take him to his doctor. The doctor will probably prescribe him with some cold medication to help relieve some of the congestion. You are also going to need to get all that snot out of his nose. Use a nose aspirator to suck some of that snot out to help him breathe.

The best thing to do is to turn on a very hot shower in your bathroom and take your baby into the room for about 10-15 minutes. The steam will help loosen the congestion.

You can try either a warm mist or cool mist humidifier. A really good one is the one made by vicks. purchased the kaz which is the liquid form of the vapor rub. Once you fill the humidifier with water and put the kaz in, it immediately fills the room with vapor and mist that relieves the congestion.
