What can I do for a dog with a bee sting?

Bee stings affect dogs similar to how they affect people. If there is a stinger, remove it from the wound. Clean the wound. The dog could have an allergic reaction and require veterinary treatment, especially if it has a severe anaphylactic reaction. I would recommend giving pain medication and benadryl.

There really isn't a whole lot you can do for that. if the sting is really bothering the dog check with the vet to see if there is anything you can recomend.

The best thing to do would to imediatly take your dog to the vet! Alot of dogs are highly allergic to bee stings and could cause sever allergic reactions or even death. Smaller dogs are more effected the larger dogs.

First off some dogs can potentially be allergic and go into anaphylaxis from a bee sting, if they have a hard time breathing, take them to the vet immediately. Otherwise treat the wound with antiseptic after removing the stinger. And a little pet never hurts :)

For a bee sting, it is the same as with a human. To remove the stinger, scrape it off with a credit card but do not pinch. Keep ice on.
