The easiest method of cleaning the corrosion from a car battery is to use a mixture of warm water and baking soda. The mixture will dissolve the corrosion so you can wash it away. Be very careful the corrosion is made of acid so make sure you wear safety goggles.

Well before cleaning you should use something to neutralize the acids. Try a mix of baking soda and water. Rinse it thoroughly and the let it dry. Then the terminals could be cleaned with a cleaning tool.

Just buy an anti-corrosion spray, and spray it on the part of your battery that is corroded. Let it sit for one minute, and then wash it off with water.

If you find white stuff on the top of your car battery it is acid residue. To clean, sprinkle with some baking soda and wash off with water. Then repeat!
