Nail clippers can be used to trim its nails, but caution must be used not to cut too close to the foot; this can lead to blood loss and death.

Usually if you have a good mineral block cuttle fish bone and the right perches, you would not have to tend to its nails. You can buy a nail trimmer at your nearest pet store. Be sure to not buy a clipper that has a motor or initiates a loud noise, which would result in your birds stressing out.

You can use clippers on it. Get bird nail clippers. Only cut a little bit at a time, because it could bleed. Have powder available just in case.
