If it's close to the outside of the ear, you might be able to pull it out with tweezers. You should probably just take your dog to the vet, as there might be a chance you could cause more damage.

Take him to a vet would be a first suggestion. He most likely has ear mites or some other parasite in his ear. If you opt not to take him to the vet, sometimes castor oil or sweet oil put into the dogs ear clears up the problem, it may take several treatments for it to work though.

It is probably ear wax. You should purchase a good liquid ear cleaner and squeeze it into the dog's ear. Massage the base of the ear gently, then gently wipe out the residue with a damp cloth until the material is gone. The dog may shake its head; if so, wipe off any residue you see on the earflap.

Dog ear cleaning is important, particularly for dogs with floppy ears. Purchase a dog ear cleaning solution, or use a home-made one. Consult your vet if you're unsure.

Take him to the vet. My dog had something wrong with his ear and they gave him ear drops and it cleared it right up.

Make a camomile tea wait until its just a little bit warm than use the warm camomile water with cotton swabs to clean the ear. Don't go very deep inside. If the ear is not better after 2 days go to a vet.
