Ants can find food on rabbits, but they have to have a home base somewhere else. Find out where their nest is and block the hole, and also give your rabbits a bath in diatomaceous earth.

Find the source and attempt to the kill the ants. A careful application of FOOD GRADE diatomaceous earth (other grades are TOXIC - DE in garden stores may also contain pesticides) on the rabbits and a dusting in their habitat may keep ants away. A raised hutch may be necessary.

Get the rabbits and their food off the floor so that the ants don't swarm over them. Then give them a flea bath.
