The first thing that comes to my mind is to stay out of the sun for the next 3-4 days. Use Solarcaine Spray as directed. Vinegar in a spray bottle will also help alleviate your pain in between using Solarcaine.

First start drinking plenty of water, sunburns lead to dehydration and your body needs fluids to repair itself. Secondly aloe and shea butter either separately or preferably together rubbed on the area will help heal the sunburn quicker. Or Aloe and Vitamin E oil.

A quick treatment for the pain of a sunburn is using 2nd or 3rd degree burn cream. There's probably some in your First Aid kit. It will sting for a few minutes, but the pain will be completely gone in just a few hours. The redness will fade eventually.

the best remedy for a sunburn anywhere if you can stand the smell is vinegar. Preferably the apple cider vinegar.

Use a lotion like Vaseline Intensive Care or another type of product that contains aloe and/or other cooling, healing ingredients.
