Try to befriend this person. If this doesn't work make sure that he or she knows that you will not let anyone interfere with you trying to perform your duties.

Go speak with your boss. It is their responsibility to resolve the situation. You should not have to put up with that situation.

Document all the times the coworker does this to you. Then go to your manager or human resources and explain the situation. They will do something to stop it to prevent a lawsuit.

Start documenting time, date, action, and talk to your supervisor & human resources. The hostility will continue until others interven based on your documentation. Work shouldnt be stressful.

You should report this person to your human resources manager. If your place of employment doesn't have a HR department, you can go to your boss.

You should keep a record of any incidents that the coworker becomes hostile with you. If it continues, take these records to his superior and discuss the situation.

Discuss this with your supervisor. Ask for one of you to be moved or reassigned so that you do not have to work together. If this individual has threatened you, a police report may be in order.
