It's possible that it's full and jammed. Try cleaning out all the ice cubes and wiping down the outside of the maker. If the water line is plugged that would also affect the output. Also check the lifter type arm in the tray and see that it moves easily.

Perhaps, there is something stuck into the ice maker. Open the ice maker and see whats going on. Usually there could be something stuck in there. Just try to crush some water into it and see if it works. Possibly this will get rid of whatever is stuck in the ice maker.

Several things can cause your ice maker to be stuck or to stop working. One easy fix is to look in your freezer at the ice maker and see if something, like an ice cube, is blocking the mechanism that pushes the ice out of the freezing tray and into the ice bucket on the inside of your freezer door.

A lot of fridges filter the water. If your fridge needs a new filter, usually it will stop making ice. There will also be a light that comes on next to "check filter status" (or something to that extent). You can usually buy a new filter at bigger hardware or appliance stores.
