What can be done about meniscus injuries?

I hope it doesn't require a knee replacement.

Muscle strengthening exercises are good. Physical therapy is also good for meniscus injuries. Prolotherapy and surgery is also very useful.

It depends on the type of injury you have suffered. Sometimes, the cartilage in the knee is "worn out" and that can be solved by either surgery or injecting a special gel-like material which compensates fot the cartilage you've lost.

Treatment varies depending on the type, location and degree of extension of the fracture, age and activity level of the patient and last time of the incident.A doctor consultation is required to see what kind of treatment you should follow.

Meniscus injuries can possibly be treated without surgery. Treatment includes rest, ice, compression, elevation, and physical therapy. Also, you may need to wear a knee brace temporarily.
