A bile leak is anatomically and physiologically seperate from your kidneys. However, bile leak has a risk of sepsis and sepsis carries a prerenal shock risk to your kidneys.
Anything that leaks in to your system is poisonous and can be deadly. A bile leak might cause your kidneys to malfunction or cause an infection that would need medical attention. The bile leak could put you in hospital and be quite serious.

A bile leak will cause your kidneys to overwork and could possibly lead to the need to remove and/or replace a kidney. It is possible that a bile leak could cause kidney failure. See a doctor immediately.
I can't come up with a physiologic or anatomic link between the symptoms of bile leakage following cholecystectomy or abdominal trauma and adverse effects on your kidneys. Kidneys are unaffected.
