Answer by  Mable (3008)

The Presbyterian and Catholic faiths are Christian, that is believing Jesus Christ is God's son and Lord of lords. Both are credal churches, affirming both the Apostles' and the Nicene Creeds. Both have the sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion, and both believe in prayer and worship, especially on Sundays, for individual members and the congregations.

Both faiths believe in the Trinity. Both celebrate the Lord's Supper. Both require training and ordination of their clergy. Both recognize common sacraments such as baptism. Both use the Lord's prayer and recognize Mary as Christ's mother.

They aren't many similaritys between the two. Both religions believe in the Bible and both religions believe in having church sevices. They techncally both believe in leadership in a church. With catholics having a preist and presbyterian having a pastor. The way the worship and the way they feel you get to heaven are very different.
