There is oral communication and written communication. Oral communication is transfer of information by word of mouth for example talking to someone, listening to music over the radio or TV, e.t.c. Written communication is communication conveyed by use of signs or symbols for example, articles in the newspapers, books, pictures e.t.c.

Some types of communication include mobile phones, radio, bullhorns, talking, sign language and television. There are also lots more of different types of communication, but its very difficult to think of them all in one sitting.
