Typically you will need to get an education degree for whatever grade level you wish to teach at. Then you will need to become a licensed teacher, usually in English or a similar subject. After several years you can typically get your certification through your state teaching board.

There are some jobs available with no specialized training or experience; you can find out about them online. Eventually you'll want to get a master's degree and/or a teaching certificate.

To become a teacher, you need to get your education degree from any university. You can also start by getting the experience by volunteering at classrooms. The more experience you have the better it is for your resume. The resume will look better and it will help you get a job.
