This is a relatively safe procedure but some of the risks are cramping, which can be quite uncomfortable, and spotting. Don't be too worried unless you have heavy bleeding, or a fever.

This procedure is completely safe and the health risks are virtually nil. The biggest problem with this procedure is if the patient is overly anxious, not the procedure itself.

It is common for there to be some cramping and blotting after that sonohysterogram ,so there is no need to worry as this is a normal symptom. However, there is a slight chance if infection. patients with tubal disease are at a higher risk for infection. Infection is only only in about 1% of patients after surgery.
