What are the requirements for a us resident to get United States Medicare, as compared to an alien?

I would like to know what the requirements are for medicare.

Depending on the state, some are required to have identification proving your immigration status. Most states are now requiring this piece of information.

I think you mean Medicaid. Medicare is only for persons of retirement age. The U. S. citizen must fall within certain income guidelines, with the exception to pregnant women and children with an absent parent or need as determined by the state.
