What are the primary colors on the paint color wheel?

Which are the secondary colors?

Answer by  J86 (80)

The primary colors are red, yellow and blue. The secondary colors that can be mixed from the primary colors are orange, purple/violet and green. The colors then extend into tertiary shades as well, made by mixing secondary and primary shades together. For example, indigo out of blue + violet, or chartreuse out of yellow + green.
