There are several types of discharges that can be received upon being released from the military. The types of discharges are honorable, general under honorable conditions, other than honorable, and dishonorable.
Usually the military classisfies things into a few other neat categories. They use, dishonorable discharge which is the worst of them all. They use medical discharge which is self explanatory and they use other than honorable.
-General discharge
-Other than Honorable discharge
-Bad conduct discharge
-Dishonorable discharge
Normally if you get discharged from the army, you will get a General Discharge. Ofcourse you want to leave the army with an honorable Discharge
