What are the most effective methods to reduce and control triglycerides?

I need to know what to eat, what to avoid, what kind of exercise, etc.

I suggest doing yoga. Many poses help with many aspects of health. I would suggest you ask a professional for advise too.

An elevation of triglycerides in the human body is usually caused by eating foods that are high in saturated fat and cholesterol. If more fruits and vegetables and whole wheat grains are included in the diet then the triglyceride levels will lower. Levels can also be lowered by walking at least 5 times a week for 30 min a period.

Stop smoking. Limit alcohol, fats, meat, milk products and sugars. Lose weight. Use olive, canola or peanut oil instead of animal fats. Eat more fruits and vegetables. Snack on low-fat items or products made with unsaturated fats.
