It's a data structure in which every computer in a network is connected to each computer it needs to communicate with. This allows individual computers to communicate directly to the compute it needs to speak to without going to a central hub first. It's an ideal setup in a small network where computer need to interact at high speeds.

The main use of mesh topology is to ensure that the network is reliable because the use of multiple nodes will ensure that the datapath is completed.
