The ingrediant include;Sugar, Corn Syrup, Malic Acid, Citric Acid, Water, Ascorbic Acid, Artificial Flavors, Blue 1, Red 40, Yellow 5. Due to the amount of sugar in these candies I wouldn't recommend eating them all the time The acids in the candy are very mild and are used many foods and therefore won't cause much physical damage

The strong sour flavor in Warhead Candy comes from the malic acid coating. There is also a pocket of this same acid in the middle of the candy. The candy also includes ascorbic and citric acid. There is a warning label on the candy because it may cause irritation of the mouth.

The ingredients in Warheads are as follows:Sugar, Corn Syrup, Malic Acid, Citric Acid, Water, Ascorbic Acid, Artificial Flavors, Blue 1, Red 40, Yellow 5. It is stated that eating more than two at a time can take the skin off of your cheek and tongue. this has not been proven.

I am eating them right now, every time I eat them I eat about 4. Every time they do in fact take the skin of of my tongue. It always happens a couple hour following consumption.  add a comment

It has actually taken the skin off my sons tongue - like it has been scraped with a potato Peeler! And my son is complaining of toothache. Won't be letting him eat these again!!  add a comment
