Ionic and covalent are most recognized. Other bonds include: polar covalent, hydrogen bond, one and three electron bond, bent (or banana) bonds, 3c-2e and 3c-4e bonds, aromatic, and metallic bonds. Ionic bonds involve a transfer of electrons. Covalent bonds on the other hand, share electrons. Covalent bonds can also be separated into polar and non-polar bonds.

A COVALENT BOND results when two atoms share electrons. An IONIC BOND occurs when one atom gains an electron from another, forming a negative and a positive that attract. METALLIC BONDING occurs in metals where electrons are free to move about attracted to the positive cores of the atoms.

Chemical bonding includes ionic bonds (between ions), covalent bonding (between atoms that share electrons), and metallic bonds (between two metals). Covalent bonds can be polar (between atoms with differing electronegativity values) or non-polar (between atoms with the same electronegativity).

there are a few kinds of bonding.firstly..there is covalent bond which is bonding between non-metals.nxt,there is ionic bond..which is bonding between metal n non-metalthere is also a metallic bond n that sums up the 3 different kind of bondind
