London heathrow/gatwick to Johannesburg is an 11 1/2 hours direct, London heathrow/gatwick to Cape Town direct is 12 hours. South African Airways and British Airways are the most direct airlines; but there are alternatives that take only marginally longer.

bureaucratic leadership is characterized by large government, and a specific chain of command. This often leads to a decrease in efficiency, and an increase in red tape, many bureaucracies are more wasteful than a streamlined system, and have more redundancy built in. the main downfall is the cost, and the time required to get things done

Bureaucratic leadership refers to a governmental setup in which professional workers have power -- that is, they work in offices or "bureaus" that control resources and make decisions.

A bureaucratic leader bases decisions on the rules or on those actions that increase their power. They will seek a basic minimum of action completed to justify their need for more people beneath them. Rank and respect is based on seniority, not merit. They seek a minimum of effort to keep their jobs, not performance.
