What are the best travel mugs to use for making crafts?

I am going to have my preschool class make travel mugs for their parents for Christmas and need ideas on what mugs to use and where to get them.

You can find ready-to-decorate plastic mugs at some craft stores. The child draws/paints a picture on the enclosed paper, then seals it into the walls of the cup. Generally, these are not dishwasher safe. Alternatively, if you can find ceramic travel mugs, the kids can paint them using air-drying or oven-cured ceramic paints. Keep paint away from lip area.

There are mugs that have a blank "sleeve" around the outside of it where you can place pictures or other small pieces of paper or crafts. Check at Wal-Mart or other craft stores for them there. They are very easy to make and can be customized and personalized for your preschoolers. Cute idea!

Dollar Tree has mugs, you can order from www. dollartreedirect. com and they will ship them to your local store, but you have to buy the case pack. Also, try Oriental Trading, they have them, along with other blank crafts. There are others out there, I believe Starbucks sells one, but quite a bit more expensive.
