It really depends on what you're going to be using the computer for. Try Compaq, eMachines, Gateway, and Acer for cheap computers.

The best would have to be a net-book, they are cheap, affordable, and have several nifty features, such as they are portable, have decent battery life so you can go anywhere around your house. They also have pretty good CPU's in them, and normally run about $300 - $400 dollars.

The brand emachines are very affordable computers, can find more info on there web page, this was one of my 1st computers, great for learning with out the pricey investment.

Assembled computer is the best economy computer . Go to the shop and buy the hardware and assempled it .
