What are the appropriate diclofenac sodium doses?

Diclofenac doses depend on the indication for its use and do not typically depend on weight. Analgesia, Dysmenorrhea: 50mg three times daily (immediate release); or may give 100mg loading dose followed by 50mg doses. Arthritis: 150mg/day in two to three doses (similar to Analgesia) There are no pediatric dosages given. For all other indications, please consult your physician.

For adults usual dose is 75 mg 1-2 times a day, duration 5-7 days. Weight does matter for children older then 6 years. Dose for children is 6mg/kg - 4-2 times a day.
