Practice running routes, and holding onto the the football! In addition, wind sprints (cardio in general), and upper and lower body weights, which would include leg press and extension, squats, bench and shoulder press, bicep and tricep burl, military press, lat pulldown, chinups, pushups, situps, calf raises and incline press.

Lots of sprinting and heavy lifting, as well as plyometrics and the Olympic lifts (snatch, clean, clean and jerk). Vary running times, jumping heights, and repetition and weight schemes.

Speed and agility are most important to you. Power squats are a good exercise. Jumprope is also good, as well as bench pressing and other upper body exercises.

Do plenty of cardiovascular workout to help with your speed and stamina. This will also help with lowering your resting heart rate, which is beneficial for your health. Exercises you can do are: running on treadmill, sprinting at the tracks, elliptical machine, and exercise bike for an hour.

You need to focus on your core, so make sure to do squats, bench press, hang cleans, military press, ab workouts, and a lower back workout
