A white elephant party is basically where you take gifts that you received the previous year, and exchange them. So, what you could do is find something small that you received that you didn't like, such as decorative soaps, and rewrap them. If you don't have anything, you could take a trip to the dollar store.

Usually there is a limit on the cost of the gift and that's around $5.00. You can get a nice candy dish, some dish towels, a box of stationary, some gripper socks, or a picture frame. There are many possibilities.

Probably the best white elephant gift idea was some small bars of soap or shower gel that you get from hotels or motels. Another gift I received was a box of partially eaten donuts.
