Unethical business practices abound, and the fundamental flaw is honesty. Lawyers mislead their clients as to what they can accomplish, and the client feels they do not have the knowledge to question. This is one example. Businesses don't tell the truth on their finances, burying bad news from the client. I agree with regulation, but can it stop human nature?

Most of the problems are people getting paid to keep their mouth shut or they will get fired from their job. Like the coal mine explosion. Workers were told to keep their mouth shut about the level of air in the chambers. Also Supervisors were told to fix problems the day the inspectors came to inspect.

Most common is not pleasuring their customers, always listen to the customer or you will never see them again. Keep your business clean, you don't want your health inspections to be violated and then have to shut down and lose revenue. Paying below then what the employee should be making.
